Shakeup at Foundever, Teleperformance, Brevo, and in luxury hospitality: Laurent Uberti and Olivier Camino reportedly on their way out at Foundever. Over at Doctolib, a heavy hitter just joined customer service. Mercato

- Olivier Camino and Laurent Uberti, respectively COO and CEO of Foundever (formerly Acticall), are leaving Foundever. Creadev takes the wheel, backed by new shareholders. Of the original trio who first met at SUP' de CO Nice, none remain. The Pyrenees' own Patou now has to reinvent a strategy and find the winning formula again, just like his biggest rivals. In a LinkedIn post, Frédéric Jousset, a former Foundever competitor, commented on the departure, noting that the golden generation of outsourced call centers from the late '90s has completely left the field, except for Eric Dadian, who has stayed at the helm of the AFRC "longer than Putin has stayed in power." He's forgetting Claude Briqué, whom he probably considers a second-tier player (ADM Value, by Tessi).
- At Intelcia, Peter Fergus O'Brien has stepped down as COO for the Americas region, after partly completing his mission of building contact centers across the Americas. Several centers were indeed set up in South America, but none in the US. "In the United States, new clients don't just jump straight into an offshore setup with a new provider without first testing your services closer to home," says the Irish manager, who has returned to consulting.
- We recently learned of the passing of Éric Delattre, Director of Operations at Local.fr. This telemarketing veteran will be fondly remembered by all.
- In luxury hospitality, and in the Savoie region where he had invested heavily, there's been no word from Guerlain Chicherit (former freeride skier and rally racer, notably in the Paris-Dakar). Over the past few years, the Tignes native had bought up and renovated several luxury hotels on the shores of Lake Aix-les-Bains, including the Incomparable. In Bourdeau, on the shores of Lake Bourget, two Bulgarian bodyguards keep away any creditors or journalists who might show up looking for payment or a story. The 2 Savoies holding company, the parent entity of the Chicherit empire, has collapsed. Is Guerlain on the run, or in hiding? We had a great lunch with the entrepreneur two years ago, but his companies left behind a mountain of debt. Whitegold, the group's booking hub, has been taken over by new owners.
- Luc Delafosse has taken over as director of the Peninsula Paris, where "there's a lot to rework when it comes to the customer experience."
- At Doctolib, Les Dickinson has just taken charge of pro customer service. This seasoned professional had been on the market for a few months after leaving Ankorstore and Booking.
- Brevo is beefing up its marketing leadership with the arrival of Inken Kuhlmann-Rhinow as CMO, and Hélène Draoulec as VP of Marketing for major accounts. Thanks to Hélène, we now know what an ICP (Ideal Company Profile) is. After stints at Foundever, Diabolocom, Zendesk, iAdvize, Yext, and Phenix, among others, we're eagerly awaiting the release of the Tech Industry's answer to the Lonely Planet guide ;)
- "At fifty, I decided to do what I love and finally chase my dream." Alexandre de Fages de Latour, former retail director at Baccarat, is releasing his second album, recorded in part with Vanessa Paradis's musicians, under his stage name: Valaime. His album, "La chambre introuvable" drops July 10.
- We now know, or at least can read between the lines, who started the fire at the Arc, the famous nightclub once owned by Benjamin Patou, whose memoir, "Itinéraire d'un enfant raté," was published by Fayard. The rocky relationship between the former troublemaker from Passy Buzenval and his longtime rival Laurent de Gourcuff is one of the book's central threads, alongside the pain of losing his mother.
- Voyageurs du Monde is going private, with the fund Certares becoming majority shareholder.
- Kudos to Alexia Sibelli. The former COO of Voyage Privé is launching The Smart Experience, a small premium BPO firm that's already earning rave reviews from its growing client base. At the last New Biz Forum, Alexia took careful notes during the tech demos. Because tech, brought in early enough, boosts BPO performance and profitability.
