Blondie, Bernard Arnault (LVMH) Daniel Julien (Teleperformance), Angélique Gérard (Iliad) how do you end up on the cover?

If you're in the CAC 40, if you're talented, if you're in the news in a very specific sector - customer experience or the digital economy - how do you end up on the cover of En-Contact?
Twenty-five years after he created the magazine, Manuel Jacquinet, publisher of En-Contact, explains the reasons behind the choice of CEOs or personalities who are selected to appear on the cover.
‘The sector or industries we cover - CRM, customer experience and the digital economy - are little known to the general public and not very ‘sexy’. So we try to make them attractive, with exclusive photos and portraits. Because, while BPO (contact centres) and UX (user experience) are technical and not very glamorous, many of the personalities and CEOs involved in them deserve to be known: Angélique Gérard, former director of subscriber relations at Iliad, Denis Marsault (Myopla) and Jérôme Gagnaire of Bouygues Telecom are good examples. Each is recognised as a leading specialist in his or her own field.

Others are simply great bosses, innovating in the fields of customer experience, retail (LVMH) and call centres, to the point of being listed in the CAC 40, thanks to their results, like Daniel Julien, the founder of Teleperformance. The cover photograph was taken during an exclusive interview he gave us in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Making the news in the sector
For others, it's because they are or represent the future of the sector, that they drive it (hipto, Volubile, Callity, trust and safety) that they are chosen to be on the front cover of the magazine. Generating intentional leads, analysing what is said in conversations using speech analytics, creating high-performance AI agents - all these activities are essential in 2025, and explain some of our recent covers, featuring Stéphanie Delestre, Kilian Le Menestrel and teams of moderators in Colombia.
The example of Honoré
Christophe Lormand, the former owner of Honoré restaurant, recounts the experience of serving or receiving the President of the Republic, Nicolas Sarkozy, in his restaurant, or taking Carla's orders over the phone - another good reason to appear on the front page of En-Contact.
And what about Blondie (Debbie Harry)?
In the magazine, we often talk about music, on-hold messages, cinema or the spectator experience. From time to time, we meet an old hand or a stranger who has witnessed an event or a memorable show. This is the case of photographer Mr Rancurel, who took this photo of Blondie at a concert.
Do you have to pay to be on the cover?
You may have to pay for your time, for an interview or a photo shoot. For everything else, no!
