‘Les Rencontres Photographiques’ of the 10th arrondissement hosts the exhibition “Marguerites” (Daisies), a series of photos on call centres
Laureate of ‘Les Rencontres Photographiques’* of the 10th arrondissement of Paris, Edouard Jacquinet’s exhibition runs until November 16th. His series “Marguerites” is a selection of photographs taken in call-centres around the world and whose objective is to portray this little know and seldom photographed universe, the people who work there and the areas where these call centres are located.
From Las Vegas to Nicaragua, via Yaoundé, Glasgow or France, the young photographer – who works regularly with En-Contact magazine – seeks to break the stereotypes often associated with this universe and invites the viewer to explore these workplaces and complex and secretive interactions differently. Begun in 2015, the series title comes from the dense, daisy like placement of furniture and workstations on the call centre platforms. To be seen and picked, until November 16th.
*The now expected opening of photography season in Paris, Les Rencontres Photographiques of the 10th arrondissement opened Monday evening, their 8th edition in fifteen years.
